can you imagine that first night cas stays with the winchesters tho, sam would be asleep and dean wouldn’t be able to sleep because he keeps looking at cas who’s watching tv or something, and finally cas turns off the tv and joins dean on the bed all hesitantly, and they just lie on the bed facing each other but not touching, until dean raises his hand to cup cas’ cheek, and dean is afraid to close his eyes because what if cas leaves, until cas kisses dean’s forehead and tells him to sleep because he’ll be there when he wakes up, and dean turns cas around and spoons up behind him and throws an arm tight around his waist. and dean wakes up the next and cas is right there and not going anywhere.
and in the morning when dean wakes up sam is working on his laptop, and maybe he’s been talking to cas, who is still completely trapped by dean’s arms and just chatting from the bed, and sam very pointedly doesn’t say anything until later, when cas is off in the corner of the room doing his own thing and he just leans over to dean and smirks and asks, “sleep well?” but instead of blushing and stammering and getting defensive like sam had expected, dean just smiles softly, staring at cas, and nods a little, raises one shoulder in a shrug. “can’t complain.”
ugh pleeeeeease dean would just want to cuddle with cas all the time and be constantly touching him and holding him and keeping one finger looped around the edge of cas’ sleeve, just so he knows he’s always there
Chicon just ended, and I don’t remember exactly when I took this photo of a photo op print if they were alone or if there were other people in the picture because there’s just too many photos of everything, but this is just too cute.
