Until I watched the season 6 of Supernatural… 

I have never read fanfiction. Before Supernatural I have watched a lot of shows, I’ve had OTPs, I’ve passionately shipped couples, but I never felt the need to read fanfiction. But this show, especially this season, has broken my heart in so many ways that actual physical pain would hurt less. So I found comfort in fanfiction because all this shit is just too painful to handle, and fanfiction made me feel better. And if I could do one thing, just anything I want, I would make those brilliant fanfiction writers the writers of the show. This fandom is brilliant and I’m amazed by it every day.
